The First Post

Well, here it is. I suppose I should introduce myself, though I am sure that anyone directed towards this blog knows me already. I am John Butler, a Film and English major at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. I'm a freshman at the moment. I like a variety of things: movies, photography, the arts (I'm basically a very humanities-oriented person), architecture, all kinds of music, travel, swimming and cycling. Of course, that's not everything, but I don't think a more thorough, in-depth look at me is necessary at this time. I'm starting this blog as a place to talk about various things; I will be posting original compositions from time to time, little observations I make, updates on the new path which I am headed down (college), things I find on the internet, and posts on plenty of other topics will be made.
